Our self-watering pots are designed to make plant care easier and more efficient. Here's a simple guide on how to use them:
- Filling the Reservoir:
- Locate the transparent water reservoir at the bottom of the pot,
as shown in the picture.
- Pour water directly into the transparent part of the pot until the water
level reaches about one centimetre below the top of the reservoir.
- Positioning the Wick:
- Ensure that the wick is properly located under the pot. The wick draws water from the reservoir up into the soil, providing consistent moisture to your plant.
- Monitoring Water Levels:
- Check the water level in the reservoir periodically. Refill as needed to maintain the water at the optimal level, approximately one centimetre below the top of the reservoir. This ensures that your plant receives a steady supply of water.
- Plant Care:
- The self-watering system reduces the frequency of watering required. Depending on the plant type and environment, you might need to refill the reservoir every 1-2 weeks.
- Monitor your plant for signs of over or under-watering and adjust the water levels accordingly.
